What is a good handicap for a freshman in high school wanting to play on the Tour?
Im a freshman in high school and I love the sport of golf. Right now I have a handicap of 13 and are starting back with my golf lessons again. I really want to be able to play on the PGA Tour but I am not sure what a good handicap should be for a golfer my age. I don't know what a good handicap would be for a freshman that would be on the right track and looking pretty good as far as a future on the Tour

What is the best practice regimen or how do you think pros split their time practicing?
I'm going to be spending about 20-25 hours a week practicing my game when the weather permits mid march. Then I'm going to spend about 60-70 hours in the summer when I'm off. What do you think would be the best way to split my practice time and/or how do you think the pros split their time? Here's my practice categories: Putting Chipping Practice green(10-100 yard shots) driving range golf course working out(cardio, core, etc) This is what my daily schedule will be like (hopefully!) this summer: 2 hours: 9 hole practice round to PRACTICE everything, work on shots, different situations, uphill or downhill lies, rough, bunkers, etc. all the odds and ends that I can't work on the range. 2 hours: putting 1 hour: chipping 1 hour: 10-100 yard shots 1 hour: driving range Then 3 days a week I plan to work out focusing to mainly strengthen my core and workout major and supporting muscles that help the golf swing and to also work on balance. My work out days, I might also play an extra 9 holes at the end of the day. The 4 days that I'm not working out, I plan to play 18 holes, sometimes to practice, sometimes to score. I don't have all the money in the world but I will be getting golf lessons on a weekly basis which I know will improve my game a lot, along with dedicated practice. What do you think of the regimen? Do you know how some of the pros practice? How do you or how would you split up your time in those areas mentioned above? I feel like I should devote way more time into putting, but I really want to focus on an all around solid game.
